Legion Partners with Litigation Labs to Offer Fully Managed AI Drafting for California Litigation Firms
Firms get Legion-quality work product without anyone on their team touching the platform
SAN JOSE, Calif. — March 25, 2026 — Legion today announced a partnership with Litigation Labs, a managed legal services provider that operates the Legion platform on behalf of California litigation firms. Litigation Labs' team of paralegals and contract attorneys handles the full drafting cycle – uploading documents, running workflows, cite-checking output, and delivering verified work product that a firm's attorneys review and approve. The firm never has to touch the platform.
Litigation Labs was founded by Andrew Greenfeld, who ran legal operations at Zoom after spending years as a senior litigation paralegal at Weil Gotshal. Under the Litigation Labs model, a firm directs the work and its attorneys sign off on the final product – the drafting cycle in between is handled entirely by Litigation Labs. The arrangement is designed to be economically advantageous for the firm: firms pay Litigation Labs and bill their clients at standard paralegal rates, keeping the spread.
The results go beyond speed. Every document produced through Legion runs through the platform's quality standards before Litigation Labs applies its own verification layer. Firms pairing a demand letter with a Legion-drafted complaint report their early settlement rate jumping from 50 percent to 90 percent. A motion to compel that typically consumes 20 to 30 hours of combined attorney and staff time comes back requiring 1 to 2 hours of attorney review. For firms that need broader support, Litigation Labs is a full-service, file-to-trial managed service that integrates defensible, enterprise-grade AI at every stage of the litigation process – including that midnight filing or print job on the eve of trial.
“Most firms want the output without the learning curve. Litigation Labs solves that. Your team directs the work, reviews the product, and signs off. Everything in between – running Legion, managing the drafting cycle, verifying the output – is handled. This is what it looks like when AI actually integrates into a litigation practice without disrupting it.”
