Legion Launches Demand Letter Builder and Brings Discovery to New York
Most-requested workflow drafts a full demand end-to-end with Centurion review, while New York litigators gain the written discovery suite
SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 12, 2026 — Legion today launched its Demand Letter Builder, the most-requested feature on the platform, alongside the expansion of its written discovery suite to New York matters. Attorneys can now draft a complete demand letter end-to-end inside Legion – the platform builds a structured outline from the matter facts and exhibits, Centurion reviews and revises it, and the attorney exports the finished letter as a Word document or a compiled PDF with exhibits slip-sheeted in, using the same export engine that powers Legion's Declaration and Request for Judicial Notice workflows.
The Demand Letter Builder follows Legion's recommended pairing workflow. An attorney first generates the demand from the matter facts and exhibits and refines it with Centurion, which tightens the arguments, sharpens the damages, and pressure-tests the demand before it goes out. The finished demand can then be fed directly into Legion's Complaint Builder as an input, carrying the facts, theories, and damages straight through, so the demand and a court-ready complaint can be sent together as a coordinated package. Legion attorneys using this pairing have seen settlement rates climb from 50 percent to 90 percent.
Demand letters drafted in Legion go out on the firm's own letterhead. In the drafting step, attorneys click the Legion logo to upload their firm logo, so the final letter carries the firm's branding rather than Legion's.
Legion also brought its written discovery suite to New York. Document Demands, Interrogatories, and Notice to Admit are now available for New York matters – previously the discovery workflows were California-only. New York litigators can now run the full written discovery suite on their own matters.
